After graduating Tokyo University he was involved in building up the Japanese satellite broadcasting business. In 1993, he founded Plat'Home together with Hiroo Honda as the first Linux company in Japan. He gives "work" as his hobby and "challenge" as his favorite word.

President of the Plat'Home USA subsidiary and Plat'Home Co., Ltd. top executive. He has long years of experience in the workstation and peripheral devices business. He holds a degree in economics from Kokugakuin University.


Seiji Takahashi

General Manager, Accounting and Finance Dept.
(CFO and Secretary of Plat'Home USA)

General Manager of the Accounting and Finance Department as well as CFO and Secretary of Plat'Home USA. Before joining Plat'Home, he was in charge of tax declarations at an accounting firm and has shown his skill and gathered rich experience in accounting practice.


Hironobu Shibata

General Manager, Technical Development

Executive for the technical development of Plat'Home products. He has 30 years of experience in the Microcomputing field. Before joining Plat'Home, he proved his talents in the development of the Storage Bender RAID system.


Seiichiro Hattori

General Manager, Marketing and Strategy

Executive for domestic and international product strategy and marketing. He has a wealth of experience in the field of business IT systems. Before coming to Plat'Home, he was handling customer care for Storage Bender. He holds a degree in engineering from Tokyo Denki University.


Tomomi Matsumoto

Manager, Promotion and Publicity

Directs the promotion and publicity in Japan and abroad. Before coming to Plat'Home, he has done web marketing and system administration for a coffee import company. He holds an MA in Literature and Cultures from Hokkaido University.


Martin Killmann

International Sales

Handles Plat'Homes international contacts from the Tokyo headquarters, including the plathome.com website. He has joined the ranks of Plat'Home from Keio University, where he was an exchange student. He holds a BA in Asian Studies from Bonn University, Germany.
