Any task, anywhere
Equipped with the right application, they are a reliable workhorse for any task. In the network, they can serve as firewall, network monitor, or DNS server. They stream data for VoIP, security cameras, or medical imaging. They control sensors and run machinery. Our clients have placed them in building walls, radar towers and even airships.
Green Technology
With their low power consumption, lead- and mercury-free design and long durability, the MicroServer series is a server solution for companies conscious about the environment.
Advantages
You need a cost-effective, reliable server for your software and self-developed appliances...

Cue in the Plat'Home MicroServer Series!
Its compact size doesn't take up too much space, it has fanless, durable hardware, and contains the flexible, versatile open source operating system
SSD/Linux which makes it simple to develop appliances.
Applications
Surveillance and control
A MicroServer can be used to receive image data of surveillance cameras and send them to a surveillance room over a local network or the Internet. It can also manage other security and safety devices such as heat and smoke sensors, earthquake detectors.
Device monitoring
A MicroServer can control and monitor devices such as printers, public displays or vending machines, which allows administrators and service technicians to manage these from a remote location.
Simple is Better
For many surveillance and automation processes, reliability is the most important factor. Since our introduction of the MicroServer series, it has been constantly tested and improved to create a 100% reliable hardware.
SSD/Linux, a small, customizable Linux OS that is specifically designed for our MicroServer Series, is the key to keep hardware requirements to a minimum, while offering all necessary functions such as the ability to run all surveillance software, networking tools, web and file servers and all other necessary software.
All MicroServers can be fully administrated over the network, so it does not need to be connected to display or I/O devices (such as a keyboard). Thanks to integrated PoE functionality, the OMS line of our servers even works without a separate power supply unit.
Placement
Thanks to its space-saving design, a MicroServer can be placed where a desktop-sized PC does not fit, right within the existing cable infrastructure. It fits inside a junction box as well as inside the main distribution frame (MDF).
Tough Environments
Hot summers of up to 40°C/104°F can mean a slow death for any hardware that is not placed in an air-conditioned environment. Plat'Home MicroServers are specifically designed to reliably work in such environments. They achieve this without mechanical parts like a cooling fan.
Rent an Evaluation Sample
If you are interested in testing how your application runs on the OpenMicroServer or OpenBlockS, or how you can use the PacketiX BOX or the KANSHI BlockS Pro in your network, we offer you a rental device for evaluation purposes.
